Ms Jessica Marie Harris & The Diamond Kreek Story

Jessica Marie Harris grew up in a family of metal workers. Her passion for working with metal began at the age of six when her grandfather began teaching her the artistic side of working with sheet metal and steel fabrication. Since then, she has gone on to design and manufacture dozens of metal art pieces ranging from garden art to junkyard art. As her talent grew, so did her vision. One day, while tinkering around, Jessica had the idea to build a birdfeeder. Using scraps of copper, steel, and whatever else she had on hand, Jessica constructed a feeder in the shape of a woman's purse. The result was both fun and functional as the handles were perfect for hanging and the body provided ample space for storing the bird feed. Shortly thereafter, a close friend proposed she add a hinge and line the inside of the tote to transform the feeder into an actual, useable purse. After a year of tinkering and refining, Jessica discovered that if she used diamond plate aluminum as the primary material, the result would be functional and light-weight, but stylish and trend-setting. Hence, Diamond Kreek was born.
